The next step apparently could be to make the experience of film-watching even more immersive using synchronised lighting effects in the cinema,UK technology company amBX UK has teamed up with London-based media production company OP Film and Media to allow filmmakers to use amBX-patented interactive lighting control technology.The lighting locations and effects in and around the auditorium are designed not to interfere with the projected image in any way, but to engage the viewer's peripheral vision, normally unstimulated in a classic film screening.
