National Wetlands Awards

At a ceremony held amidst the surroundings of the U.S. Botanical Gardens, ELI gathered together researchers, administrators, educators, and community leaders in addition to members of Congress and representatives of half a dozen government agencies to recognize seven individuals for their outstanding work safeguarding and improving wetlands. "It was a great honor for me to speak to meet and present awards to the extraordinary individuals selected for the National Wetlands Awards this year," stated ELI President John Cruden.
