We are pleased to highlight significant achievements of the Environmental Law Institute in 2012 in pursuit of its vision of a healthy environment, prosperous economies, and vibrant communities founded on the rule of law. Presidential Election Environmental Issues To address important environmental issues posed by the 2012 presidential election and build understanding, ELI held two debates for officials with diverse political views: one at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., and the other at the New York City Bar Association.
