Lengthy discussions with the Government Construction Contracts Committee (GCCC) have taken place over the last few months on the proposed new forms of contract for public sector civil and building contracts, and for the engagement of consultants. Only very limited concessions have been made to the construction industry representatives' requests for significant revisions / redrafts.
