Back to school for STEPS

The STEPS team are ready to launch a packed schedule of activities and events for students, teachers and volunteers in time for the new school year. Looking ahead to the new term, primary schools will be receiving information about the Xperience Engineering Project and Electro Magnetic Shows. Schools have until November 19, 2010 to register and be in with a chance to win an interactive whiteboard and laptop for their school at next year's National Final. Secondary school students can look forward to visits from volunteer engineers highlighting how taking up engineering at third level can be the passport to a fantastic, wide ranging and exciting career no matter what discipline you choose. Volunteer engineers are a vital part of the STEPS to engineering schools programme for both primary and secondary school visits.
