摘要

In this article, we have proposed a project management approach to track and manage the design and manufacturing of DIBs. The proposal has inputs from all the stakeholders from engineers, to senior management, to finance and the vendors themselves. These guidelines have helped us in improving the turn around time on the design and manufacturing DIBs from 24 weeks to 10 weeks. The number of errors and the cost of these initiatives have also been reduced remarkably. With each new project, we continue to add more detail to this framework to encompass all intricacies of these endeavours.
