HIGH PRESSURE JBJ Techniques has introduced pressure intensifiers designed to allow users to achieve high-end pressure from low-pressure hydraulic power sources. The pressure intensifiers are said to be advantageous for both new and existing hydraulic circuits where space is at a premium. According to JBJ, there is no need for users to source and buy higher-pressure pumps when they can use an existing hydraulic circuit and add a pressure intensifier. Applications include hydraulic workholding on machine tools; static and impulse testing equipment; hydraulic power packs; stone crushing machines; subsea ROVs; hydraulic machines; and quick die-changing equipment.
