WRAP hopeful on recycling plastics from electrical appliances

Mechanical separation and treatment of plastics from electrical appliances containing brominated flame retardants is likely to be preferable to landfill or incineration, according to a study by the Waste and Resources Action Programme. But the separation of plastics will only be viable if the Government makes it mandatory.
