Severn Trent Water appeared before Cheltenham magistrates on the 22 October to plead guilty to breaching its environmental permit at its Huntley sewage treatment works, Gloucestershire, contrary to regulation 38(2) of the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2010. The firm was fined ￡20,000 and ordered to pay ￡3,322 in costs.
