UK's Circular economy needs reality check

More collaboration, consumer participation and government action will be needed if the UK is to shift to a circular economy. Practical ways of kick-starting the UK's circular economy were discussed at a London conference on 4 March. Business needs to move on from "rhetoric and acceptance" of the circular economy and start a "move to reality", urged Sita's chief executive, David Palmer-Jones. He was speaking on the opening day of Resource, a three-day circular economy event held at ExCel in London.
