Devices that detect missing lacquer on crown corks have been installed by Sencon on production lines at the Girona, Spain, plant of Jose Combalia to prevent faults that lead to detached plastics internal seals. Javier Borque Marceno of Jose Combalia discussed the project with Lars Skade of Sencon, before the two companies worked to install a SC651 unit on one of the manufacturer's Sacmi press.
