The integrated opener (2), such as a crown cork opener, is for units such as beer bottles, multiply packed in a crate, and are individually removed for consumption. The wrenching force exerted on the crate is absorbed by reinforcements (3). The openers can be integrated in the front and rear edges of the crate, but other positions are possible for them. Apertures for hand engagement (4) can be formed on the crate side edges that they may be used as openers. The shape of these hand apertures can be such that they can be used in replacement of customary loose crown cork openers.
