Coca-Cola's global revenue has recovered in the three months to the end of June, helped by the base-effect of a poor second quarter during the pandemic last year. The Atlanta-based drinks producer also said results had benefited from an improving global economy as coronavirus containment measures were lifted across the world. The figures, however, don't yet reflect the impact of the company's revamp of its branding for Diet Coke. Organic revenue - which doesn't include the contributions from recent acquisitions - grew 37 per cent year-on-year in the three months through June, Coca-Cola said. That comprised 26 per cent expansion in concentrate sales and 11 per cent rise attributable to price/mix. Net profit was up 48 per cent to US$2.64 billion. First-half sales climbed 20 per cent.
