Northeast power dailies ticked up Thursday for next-day deliverydespite sinking demand expectations and above-average temperatures.Mass Hub on-peak day-ahead gained $2.50 to $26.50/MWh on theIntercontinental Exchange for next-day delivery. In near-termpackages, the Mass Hub second-week package traded near $36.25/MWh for January 13-17 delivery, about $10 above day-ahead levels.High temperatures in Boston Friday were forecast 6 degrees aboveseasonal norms at 45 degrees Fahrenheit. Low temperatures wereforecast 12 degrees above normal at 37 F. In anticipation, ISO NewEngland forecast peakload demand to tick down almost 200 MW to15,920 MW Friday from 16,100 MW Thursday.
