Museums in the heartland of the motor industry

My colleague Graham and I arrived in Stuttgart on a Wednesday afternoon and enjoyed a relaxed walk around the city, taking in its heritage and cosmopolitan culture. Following a hearty German breakfast, we left the hotel and caught the excellent Stuttgart tram system. We then made our way over to the Porsche Centre in the city, stopping off at one of the largest dealership sites I have ever seen.This was a Mercedes-Benz retail outLet the size of several football pitches, covering two floors. It was very pleasant to enjoy mid morning refreshments at the sites' restaurants whilst browsing over the latest model range and technology videos.
