The Manser Medal became a part of the RIBA Awards in 2003, with entries being drawn from schemes winning RIBA Awards in that year. Michael Manser has chaired the jury every year since its inception.Since 2008, Deborah Saunt has been director of DSDHA, which she established in 1998 with David Hills. She is also unit master at London Metropolitan University Architecture School. Her previous posts include the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne; the Architectural Association, London; and the University of Cambridge School of Architecture. She will chair the RIBA Awards Group in 2010/11, having been a member since 2006.
