The Sunday Times British Homes Awards 2013, sponsored by Homebase and in partnership with the AJ, BRE, The New Homes Marketing Board and Premier Guarantee challenges architects to design a model family home that gives space, storage, noise insulation and natural light, that is flexible and can be replicated at scale. It is planned that the Britain's Future Home competition winner, as voted by readers of The Sunday Times, will be displayed as a show house prototype at one of the UK's leading home interest consumer shows before volume development on a riverside site at the award-winning Lower Mill Estate in Gloucestershire - home to Sun House, the British Homes Awards Small House of the Year 2012.
