English Heritage (EH) is looking at 14 post-war office buildings for possible protection under its 30-year listing rule. The conservation body has drawn up a list of late 20th-century commercial buildings, including six within the City of London, which it believes are worthy of statutory protection. Among those being assessed, most of which have just turned 30 years old, are Richard Seifert's cylindrical 1966 1 Kemble Street (CABE's former headquarters) and Tower 42, Seifert's NatWest Tower (1980).
