NEW PERSPECTIVE : DESIGNING BED LINEN USING JAPANESE MOTIFS

摘要

India being one of the oldest textile centers of the world. The printing is famous all over the world from ancient time. Every year thousand of prints are introduced in market for home furnishing and dress material. Keeping the demand of market, the designs were developed for home furnishing and dress material using Japanese motifs. The present study aimed to find the acceptability of printed articles in the domestic market. The result reveals that bed linen has a lot of potential in home furnishings.
