Dollar Ind. Ltd. plans a push for growth in South India

Dollar Industries Ltd, which makes and sells a range of innerwear products, plans a push into the southern market and modern retail segment to sustain its double-digit topline growth and achieve higher market share. The company expects its strategy to help it achieve targeted revenues of about Rs.1,000 crore this fiscal, up from Rs.830 crore in 2015-16. The Kolkata-headquartered company, which claims to be the third largest hosiery brand in the country, has established a strong position in all regions barring the South, where regional brands and others dominate and in which it plans a strong thrust.
