It is a great challenge to satisfy foodie as they rarely eat for hunger and aims to improve the quality of food on the whole. The unit comprises of the following major sub-sections :1.Storage area 2. Grinding and storing 3.Cooking and serving , 4.Programmable Logic Controller(PLC). Storage Weigher serves as storage bin with measure of the stored ingredient sensed and dispensed through integrated weighing sensor. Mixer Feeder subsystem feeds to the mixer assembly flow monitored and controlled through flow sensor hooked up to the PLC. Water reservoir provides water for washing ingredients, soaking , grinding and mixing based on PLC. Concentrator Assembly Subsystem serves dual purpose of stirring the mixed ingredient and concentrating the mixer for proper viscosity and consistency. Steam Engine feeds the fuel (steam) through the nozzles for cooking , the pressure of delivery and flow regulated by the PLC controller.PLC Microcontroller is a programmable logic controller (PLC) is an industrial computer control system that continuously monitors the state of automatic food maker system and makes decisions based upon a program to control the system.It aims to have separate compartments for storing the ingredients and to prepare the food based on the number required. This system prepares instant lemon rice, tamarind rice,tomato rice, coconut rice,biriyani etc automatically with raw ingredients for home and operates remotely from any where. This Automatic South Indian Food Maker will be a solution not only to the elderly but also for the fast pace life of younger generation. The product aims to improve the quality of life on the whole.
