Intent & Impact textiles as contemporary sculpture

During her long career as a textile artist, Susan Fell-McLean has sought her main inspiration in nature. She has also travelled widely, and with Palimpsests in Translation, the work for her recently completed Master of Visual Arts (shown at the Yarra Sculpture Gallery, Victoria in March 2007), she evokes both urban and rural spaces.
