摘要

In an Oct. 6 posting on the FCC's "reboot" blog, Paul de Sa, chief of the Commission's Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis, criticized a press release issued by the Phoenix Center for Advanced Legal & Economic Public Policy Studies the previous day for making unsupported claims about the effects of FCC regulatory proposals.rnThe Phoenix Center press release, which announced a paper that deals with the effect that decreased capital expenditures by the information sector would have on jobs, carried the headline "FCC's Regulatory Agenda May Have Serious Adverse Impacts on New Job Creation." Mr. de Sa said that while the paper itself offers "a frothy mix of algebra and math jargon ... apparently proving that investment creates jobs," the press release headline is "less well-supported."
