The panel was slated to mark up the Patent Transparency and Improvements Act (S 1720) the day after his May 21 announcement. Meanwhile, the House Energy and Commerce Committee's commerce, manufacturing, and trade subcommittee looked for a way to "thread the needle" on patent litigation reform during a May 22 hearing.
