The FCC has mandated that all voice service providers implement the STIR/SHAKEN (Secure Telephony Identity Revisited/Signature-based Handling of Asserted information using toKENs) caller ID authentication framework in the Internet protocol (IP) portions of their networks by June 30, 2021.
