Rosenworcel, O'Rielly Stress 5.9 GHz Band Rulemaking

FCC Commissioners Jessica Rosenworcel and Mike O'Rielly recently reiterated their support for the FCC's pursuit of a rulemaking to free up at least some of the 5.9 gigahertz band for unlicensed use, and they welcomed a study that estimated that allowing Wi-Fi operations in the band could add more than $100 billion annually to the U.S. gross domestic product.
