Data services do not always come standard with a prepaid native SIM, warns Oren Vered, president of SIM-phoneE, a Montreal-based provider of SIM cards. China Mobile, for example, does not currently offer data services with its prepaid SIM sold through San Diego-based SIM card retailer Telestial.
