International Wireless Study: $693.50 is Avg. Bill

Cut your end users some slack if you thought their international phone bills were too high. They might be better behaved than most. The average communications-related bill for an overseas business trip is $693.50, finds a recent study sponsored by Brightroam, a Toronto-based international wireless management service, and performed by Rochester, N.Y.-based Harris Interactive Group. That's an average $274.60 spent on local calls made within the country being visited, $134.60 on international calls to the United States and $284.30 on international calls to other countries.
