After making some interesting products (photo viewer key chains, photo frames) Genius now has a PMP in its line-up, the MP-300. 2 GB capacity, touch-sensitive menu controls, FM tuner with recording, photos, videos and text. The blue backlit keys are quite sensitive but nothing can replace actual keys when it comes to tactile feedback. The 2.4 inch TFT screen is bright and crisp; it was a treat to watch videos/photos on it. There's a tiny loudspeaker that can barely be heard, which could have been done away with. Transfers are using a standard mini-USB port. The FM tuner is perhaps the biggest let down in this package. FM reception was not upto the mark. Also, once FM is on, you can't go back to the main menu, as the 'revert' key acts as a default trigger for FM recording.
