The certifiers

The word 'certificate' is made up of the two root words certus (certain) and facere (make). There is hardly any product or service on the market today that doesn't come with some kind of certificate. The imagination knows no limits. The only certificates, however, that should be taken seriously are those that are based on national or international standards or were developed as proprietary solutions by companies that have the necessary proven expertise. If a superior approval authority is involved, as is the case in wind energy, then this authority will deter- mine which certifiers satisfy its requirements.
