The prospect of shooting a book-length photo essay on the mass migration of mankind might be enough to induce a panic attack in most photographers. Indeed the epic scale of the project, the potential logistic nightmares, and the exhaustive journalistic legwork necessary just to launch such an undertaking is not for the faint of heart. That aside, the artistic challenge of capturing the movement of entire populations across several continents would probably be enough to stop most pros in their tracks.
