SEI Completes Two Decades

In February 1991, the first issue of Structural Engineering International (SEI) was published and sent to all Members of IABSE. At the time it was a replacement of the IABSE Periodica. Today, as it celebrates its 20th year of publication, there can be no doubt that its creation remains a defining moment in IABSE's 82 years of history. Every now and then we get to hear from readers who appreciate the journal and mention how much they like receiving it, and in one recent occasion a reader also tipped that what sets SEI apart is also the non-commercial aspect of its technical articles. And as our readers say (SEI's readership survey): "The mix of high quality papers on theory and projects sets SEI apart from other journals".
