In the last decade, there has been a marked rise in the number of scholars who discuss China. The increasing research on the decision-making processes in China shows that the world is concerned about the effects of China's rise on the stability of the international system. But a large portion of such research also looks at the economic aspect, China vis-a-vis the United States or India, or concentrates on the military dimension of China's rise. There are also scholars who deal with the regional dynamics and the internal issues linked to the Chinese rise. The more China becomes important, the more complex it appears owing to the diversity of dimensions surrounding its approach.
