摘要

Satellites nearing the end of their time in service may soon find themselves with a new lease on life. Earlier this year, a satellite on the verge of being decommissioned was put back into play thanks to Northrop Grumman's Mission Extension Vehicle-1 (MEV-1). Later this summer, MEV-2 will launch and service a second satellite, inaugurating the era of reusable orbiters.
