A Papyrus Treatment: Bringing the Book of the Dead to Life

The condition, examination, and treatment of a section from a Book of the Dead is discussed. The fabrication of papyrus and the materials used are described. Using x-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, an analysis of the pigments was made.
