Dr. Anatoli Petrukovich is currently head of the space plasma physics department at the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The mission of the department is to conduct spacecraft experiments in near-Earth, planetary and interplanetary plasmas as well as to advance theory of space plasma. Dr. Anatoli Petrukovich received an honours degree in physics and applied mathematics Dr. Petrukovich studies dynamics of the magnetospheric tail and substorms using data from the GEOTAIL, CLUSTER, INTERBALL, THEMIS missions.
