CARBON SORBENTS FOR PURIFYING MANGANESE(II) SULFATE SOLUTIONS

The sorption properties of selected carbon sorbents (ABG, LKAU, SGN) were investigated to determine the possibilities of their use for the deep purification of manganese(II) sulfate solutions from ions of copper(II), zinc(II), and iron(II) in connection with the production of active manganese dioxide from manganese concentrates. It is shown that the sorbents ABG and LKAU based on brown and hard coals of the Siberian region can be used for these purposes.
