摘要

The kinetics of the Ru(III)catalysed oxidation of six derivatives of phenethyl alcohol(X-C_6H_4-CH_2CH_2OH where X=H,Cl, Br, CH_3, OCH_3 or NO_2)by maganese(III) sulfate, in sulfuric acid solution at 30 deg C, were followed spectrophotometrically at #gamma#_(max)=nm.
