APPROXIMATE METHOD OF DETERMINING SETTLEMENTS OF FOUNDATION BEDS

An alternative algorithm for calculation of foundation settlements is proposed for computer programs, and a procedure for, and an example of its implementation in a stepwise approximate rendering are presented. When access to computer programs is limited, application of the procedure is possible for prediction of expected settlement and verification of the results obtained.
