A Winter Project The FOO (Field Operations Officer) Cart

The Red Wing Soaring Association operates in Wisconsin near the Minnesota border. We close down in the winter as the temperatures can get to minus 40F - without the wind chill. Even the locals don't stand around for long in those temperatures, and oddly enough the gliders are not heated. So Winter is the time for projects and Spring planning.rnIn 2006 we moved our club from one airfield in MN to another much larger one 30 miles away in Osceola, Wisconsin (KOEO) in 2006. Several things became obvious.
