Y. Suat Bengur is the direc-tor of the naval systems program in the defense sys-tem technologies division at Aselsan Incorporated, where he has been employed since 1981. His previous positions include research and development engineer for several communications equipment design projects and communications-electronics warfare system engineering manager. From 2006 to 2008, he served as the naval combat system program director of the microwave and system technologies division. He has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in electrical/electronics.
