The Rocky Mountain Chapter is grateful to have an extraordinary leader and volunteer in Jim Apple-yard. For the past two years he has served as vice president for programs on the chapter's board of directors and chairman of the Sponsorship Subcommittee for the chapter's annual cyberspace symposium. Appleyard recently helped complete the chapter's 36th symposium, which was highly successful, even in a virtual world, and remains a showcase event and model for every chapter to emulate. His hard work paid off in spades. For the past two symposia, he brought in more than 50 sponsors annually and revenue over $250,000.
