U.S. Air Force Merges Program Executive Offices

The U.S. Air Force has merged its Battle Management and Theater Command and Control program executive offices into one, which will retain the Battle Management designation. The combined office will cover mission planning; operations centers; theater command, control and communications; strategic surveillance; aerospace management and intelligence processing, exploitation and dissemination. Steven Wert, a Senior Executive Service member, will lead the office.
