Lunch and Learn Addresses Physical Security

In December, Jason Gay, senior systems engineer at Enterprise Computing Services LLC, conducted a hands-on event on physical security at CoHabitat in Shreveport, Louisiana, as part of the chapter's Young AFCEAN Continuing Education Lunch and Learn series. Gay is a Certified Ethical Hacker, a Certified Information Systems Security Professional and a Cisco Certified Network Professional: Security, and he holds GIAC Assessing and Auditing Wireless Networks and COMPTIA Security+ certifications. Participants were delighted with hands-on lock picking training as Gay emphasized the criticality of the often-overlooked physical security discipline. Approximately 30 military and industry professionals attended the event and can claim one hour of continuing education units toward their professional certifications for their participation.
