In October, Chelmsford, Massachusetts-based Endeavor Robotics unveiled its Centaur robot, a medium-weight system meant to provide increased standoff capability for soldiers. The company designed the Centaur for the U.S. Army's Man-Transportable Robotic System Increment Ⅱ program. The robot will be used to detect and confirm a range of potentially lethal threats, according to the company.
