Caribbean Sun and Sea in Vieques National Wildlife Refuge, Puerto Rico. January 10-16. Trade in the winter doldrums for the crystal clear waters of Vieques, a peaceful Caribbean island with a complex history. Our trip will mix adventure and relaxation as we explore the island, learn about its history, take a guided paddleboard trip, snorkel, and relax on beautiful sandy beaches. The highlight of our trip will be a nighttime paddle in the world-famous biolu-minescent Mosquito Bay. Sun, Service, and Whales, Maui, Hawaii. January 18-25. Celebrate the New Year on a service project brimming with Hawaiian culture, storytelling, tours by local guides, and dirt! For the 10th year, we'll work in a remote west-Maui valley, formerly a taro-growing site. We'll take a day for snorkeling and enjoying the graceful aerobics of wintering humpback whales.
