I thought that as the new Editor I would just sneek in here before we begin and introduce myself. As many of you will be aware, I have been the Assistant Editor for just over two years. During that period I have been able to attend several shows and maritime exhibitions as well as leading three very successful Reader Tours, one to France and two to Spain in conjunction with P&O Portsmouth. This gave me the opportunity, and the privilege, to meet many of you face to face and I enjoyed listening to your comments and suggestions of how you would like to see 'Ships Monthly' look and develop in the future.
