Disney cruise line has announced that the 122,000gt Disney Fantasy, the second of its two new ships being built by Germany's Meyer Werft shipyard, will enter service on 7 April 2012. She will sail on alternating weekly itineraries from Port Canaveral, calling at St Maarten, St Thomas and Castaway Cay in the Eastern Caribbean and to Grand Cayman, Costa Maya, Cozumel and Castaway Cay in the Western Caribbean. Disney Magic (1998/83,338gt) will Operate the same schedule from January 2012 until Fantasy arrives.
