Mont St Michel

Gilles Marre, one of the captains on Mont St Michel, has worked for Brittany Ferries since 1987. He first went to sea on the cargo ship St Bernard, operating out of Bordeaux carving general cargo. His three trips as a cadet between 1980 and 1983 took him to both West and East Africa, and the ship returned to France with containers. He completed one trip between USA and Japan as mate, and since then has been with Brittany Ferries.
