Euroferries, the company that failed to start planned high-speed cross-Channel services in both 2009 and 2010, has re-emerged. This time they are talking of a Ramsgate-Boulogne passenger and vehicle link to commence during February using a 102m Austal trimaran. A Euroferries press release from a Kent-based agency says four daily return crossings will cater for passengers, cars and coaches, with the craft, capable of speeds in excess of 40 knots, enabling berth-to-berth timings of 75 minutes.
